Hall" is under restoration at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, Quainton.The aim of this
website is to provide information on: the history of 6989; progress of the restoration; the support groups and fundraising
activity and how you can help put this magnificent engine back in steam. Look in regularly, we update at least twice per month. We regularly place new pictures around the website.
Any contribution can be sent to the webmaster
to continued funding through sales activity and general donations, the 6989 Committee is aiming to have the locomotive
operational late 2014. Why not do your bit for posterity and help us along the last lap to put this magnificent locomotive

On 18th June 2012 the 6989 Restoration Group was awarded a Highly Commended
