The aim of this website is to provide information on:
the history of 6989; progress of the restoration; the support groups and fundraising activity and how you can help put this
magnificent engine back in steam. Look in regularly, we update at least twice per month. We regularly
place new pictures around the website.
Any contribution can be sent to the webmaster at email@example.com
The 6989 Committe aims to have the locomotive
operational as soon as we can in 2015, subject to continued funding through sales activity
and general donations. Why not do your bit for posterity
and help us along the last lap to put this magnificent locomotive back in steam?
